One of the most powerful tools you can use as a GO TEXAN Rural Community Program member is the GO TEXAN mark. The GO TEXAN mark helps you stamp your promotional materials with Lone Star pride. We encourage you to use it! How do I obtain the GO TEXAN mark? Step 1: Become a GO TEXAN Rural Community Program certified or associate member. Step 2: Review mark and tagline guidelines. In order to maintain integrity of GO TEXAN mark, there are several rules and guidelines related to its use. If you plan to use the mark in any way, you should read the specifications, as well as the guidelines accessible below or on the sidebar. Step 3: Fill out a GO TEXAN license agreement. We must have a completed and signed license agreement from you before we can issue the mark. You will receive a license agreement in your member welcome packet. Once you have completed the form, either mail it to TDA, Attn: Natalie Houghton, P.O. Box 12847, Austin, Texas 78711, fax it to (888) 223-7150 or e-mail it as an attachment to ruraltexas@tda.state.tx.us followed by mailing the documents with an original signature. Once we receive your signed license agreement, we will begin to process the approval. Once completed, we will send you mark via e-mail.
